For the printer problem, I've resolved removing HPLIP.
sudo apt-get remove hplip --yes.
Then I've remove printer and reinstall it.
Now it work.

On ubuntu 8.04 386 my laserjet work as usual. On amd64 version it not work.
The bug is very simple. On the first release of 8.04 386 there was some USB
problem, solved, that don't show /dev/usblp0 and the printer don't print. On
386 version this bug is resolved, on amd64 no
