- Locate the places.sqlite-journal file in:
$HOME/.mozilla/firefox/[NAME OF PROFILE]/
- Ensure that the file is owned by root with "ls -l"
- In the folder, run: "sudo chown [USERNAME] ./places.sqlite-journal"

Tracker does seem like a good program, tagging files and searching
metadata seems a step in the right direction.

I compiled the (relatively) new F-spot from SVN
Jaunty, f-spot 0.5.0.3 --- bug

It now works! Thanks developers!
However when compiling I had to work around the fact that the build-dep
mono dependencies for f-spot 0.6.0.0 were wrong in the Jaunty repos.

I am able to reproduce using the same steps. This is really annoying, a
workaround would really be appreciated ASAP as without it one cannot
export to Facebook at all.
Here is a debug trace (f-spot --debug) from the point i clicked the 'OK'

Still experiencing this problem using Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope.
Still cant quite figure out exactly what causes it to do this. The
applet still works after the error (when the first window does not
disappear). So if you click on the "force quit" icon again another modal
window appears on top, but
