thats not a solution for me. running virt-manager as root changes
nothing. cdrom-dvd option is still grayed out.

Update: it seems like there was a problem with the upgrade, as wehn I
logged in again, there were 155 additional updates available. After
installing these the problem went away.

I get exactly the same error having just upgraded from 7.04 to 7.10rc.
I've uninstalled all plugins and language packs.
There is nothing in /var/crash and I've had no luck in modifying the
Mozilla instructions for Thunderbird. How else can I provide better
feedback?
