I too seem to have this bug... almost exactly. I installed 11.10 from scratch. I immediately got rid of UNITY and installed the new GNOME then went back to GNOME CLASSIC. Everything worked fine and then one day, I think after a system update, my mouse pointer just started becoming invisible. som

I am unsure if it is reproducible for a new user. I am accessing a hotmail account through Evolution by using Hotway and Hotsmtp. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I selected "backup settings..." from the file menu. on completion of the task Evolution restarted and prompted me for my passwords, then prompted me again and again. I restarted Evolution with the same issue but when I canceled and clicked "
