I can confirm this bug too. My Philips PCVC730K ToUcam Fun shows a grey
image.

My Philips PCVC730K also stopped working after upgrading to Edgy. It
worked in Dapper. The picture is grey.

I do not use Edgy yet so I cannot tell you.
It works perfectly under Dapper though.
