I am now on the -.19 kernel and I still have the same issue of extremely
long boot times.
Would having the backports enabled cause this issue?

Compiled the newest version from the web site. After the mouse goes to sleep or
the PC goes into screen saver mode ( I don't know which yet )
the btnx software will engage the cpu at 100%. The only way to reset it is to
restart btnx in terminal.
