Andreas workaround works for me with "Thai (kesmanee (m17n))". "Super-1"
key now works in every apps. Libreoffice Writer hotkey works too.
The only problem now is that the keyboard indicator logo for my layout
is quite ugly, compare to non-m17n version, which is tolerable for me.

Confirm this bug too, I am using EN and TH (Thai) layout.
- This bug only affected libreoffice, removing libreoffice-{gnome,gtk} fix it
as suggested by comment above.
- Strangely, the +1 (switch to first application pinned to Dash) always
not work (emitting "ๅ" instead).

I found that actually the problem with "Super-1" for "Th" layout applied
to all other app, not just Pidgin.
And another quite serious this bug applied to, after all the changes I
made, is that I couldn't switch the layout in the lock screen!. It

Anyway, the problem with "Super-1" still persist in my case, strangely
enough it only affect Pidgin, not other apps. It only has effect when my
layout is "Th". If I press "Super-1", instead of switching to assigned
application, it will output "ๅ" instead. Super-2 - 4 works ok.

For those who experience "NextGroup" problems, here is the procedure
that make Alt-Shift works for me.
The problem seems to be that "Text Entry" double-detect the Alt-Shift as
"NextGroup" key, which is the layout switch shortcut from xkb. The idea
is to completely disable xkboptions for layout swi
I just noticed that, for some reason, the user has disappeared from the

The lastest update from PPA fix the following things for me (Note: I'm
using En+Th layout).

* Alt-shift is still not working. Just notice that it captured "Shift-Alt-Next

- Super-Space is NOT working at all. This is quite a surprise. Changing
key is one thing, but default key isn't working is so simple a bug that
shouldn't be let out to the wild.
- I'm using En-Th layout which previously use Alt-Shift as layout switcher.

One more thing, the dash hotkey Super- stop working if I switch

Removing indicator-keyboard make everything works again except all other

Me too. I really want this feature. I has a script to disable touchpad
completely when mouse attached by setting
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/mouse/touchpad_enabled. Now the script is not
working anymore.
Or else, having "Disable touchpad when mouse attached" option would be
good :).
