This occured on Ubuntu Jaunty alpha.
what I expected to happen:
For hibernate/resume to work properly.
What happened instead:
I hibernated apparently successfuly (the machine shut off). The resume failed
at the kernel level and it did a normal boot. For a kernel bug, this i
I don't get this bug anymore, since I upgraded my graphics card to a
Geforce 9800GT (got a bit more cash than expected :P). I use the Nvidia
177 drivers from the repositories. So it's something to do with that old
graphics card.

It hanged for about 10 minutes at 83% (installing linux-generic). I was
installing Fluxbuntu Gutsy in VMWare Server with the alternate (text
based) install CD. I just let it go and it went in the end. No force
reboots.
