Same issue, start happening week or two ago. Just drops connections,
sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after few hours, and can't connect
until full system restart. Few times a day, it's really annoying :(
Tried with 3 different AP, and 2 wificard (my laptop's internal and an
usb wifi)

yes, making killall -9 "notification-area-applet" after starting skype
is fixing this problem

I've restarted firefox and it's playing music now. Thank you very much, it's
annoying me for a long time, and now i know what to do at this situation.

Maybe it's not the rhythmbox bug, because when i'm trying to play music
using Amarok it just freezes (and after it i can close it only by "kill"
command) It's reproduces with any MP3s i have. Maybe it's problem with
mp3 codec? BTW, when i open last.fm it plays music without problem.
