I can raise a new issue if appropriate but I believe I am having the
same / very similar issue. With a Dell Vostro 3750.

This still appears to be a problem in 3.0.1 (64-bit hardy). Clicking on
the eyedropper displays:
"Installation problem or the Eyedropper mode isn't supported on your
