I found out now that i can have a turn off turn on of the Monitor to
reproduce this bug, It has nothing to do with the power management.

I recently made a distribution upgrade from 10.10 but I had already
massive problems after the last kernel update in kubuntu 10.10, the
Graphics was just not working anymore Blue rectangle and afterwards the
white underscore (not blinking) with black screen.

In KDE I set the power off for the monitor DVI1 (main screen).
I turn off the monitor maualy,
switch on the monitor next day.

Sligthly different problem here after dist-upgrading to kubuntu natty
with a nvidia quadro 4000.
Installing the restricted (recommended driver)
