Before you go to burn the disk, make sure the file permissions have other as read write execute. This worked for me. Linux is doing what is is supposed to do. Security is only good on the system as long as you keep permissions. -- Users do not have permission to open files in DVDs burnt in a Mac

I dislike this idea. Why turn it into windows? Linux is most useful because of its command line. unmount refers to the command being used to detach something. People will have a harder time learning why Linux is useful if you keep turning it into windows. Let users understand what they are used too
