Repeated here on an Intel core2 duo, ATI X1600 Hardy, fully updated.
Quarter screen, upper left. Running from the command line with --zoom 1 gives me
"warning: cannot zoom without mplayer or rootwin.
Cannot find xv port"
mplayer is installed and functional.

I have Compiz turned off and still get this. HOWEVER I can confirm that
Joe Sircy above has hit the fix!!!
Attached is the location of the menu item. It's a bit of blind thrashing
to find it - but it can be done.
