I tested the installation again, but without physical RAID0 and it worked
almost fine : the installer showed me a "it seems there is a GPT table
error", asking if GPT table is present or not because. I answered yes and
everything then worked fine.

I can confirm this, however the problem appears to already be resolved.
I presume someones server went strage somewhere and then they fixed it.
Not really a bug in any code anywhere, just someones sysadmin pro
I suppose it is possible, but I cannot imagine how I did that. Since no
one else has experienced this problem, I think we can assume it is user
malfunction or an untraceable bug.

Okay I found the problem and the solution but it is still a bug.
my /etc/network/interfaces
was trying to bring up the device before it was ready and thus creating a bogus
empty pid file.
