I was installing fresh ubuntu from a flash drive, while installing an
error occurred saying grub was not installed successfully and you cannot
boot into ubuntu without grub. I am dual booting windows 10 and ubuntu.

I downloaded ubuntu 13.04, ran it as virtual machine and accessed
facebook.com, tried to view text in urdu but the font is still not 'noori
nastaleeque'. images are attached as reference.

for keyboard layout the best option to compare things with is google
urdu translitration, it is the most easiest keyboard layout.

What if you replace "Urdu Nastaliq Unicode" with "Nafees Nastaleeq"?
the answer is yes.
this font should display urdu text even if urdu package is not
installed. There is some default font thats why we can see/read urdu at
least.

the default font for Urdu is SanSerif and others font only made on
emphasis on english language that's why the text displayed is not easily
