Hey, guys with no errors, see "dmesg | grep eCryptfs" not ecryptfs.
I have karmic with 2.6.31-17-generic #54-Ubuntu... and my dmesg is full of

Additional information that might be helpful:
1) The same result (system hangs up) you can get if you use "Display" dialog
instead of Fn+F5 combination to switch to external monitor (or vise versa);
2) The way how system hangs up is similar to Fn+F2 bug
