Public bug reported:

Sometimes Nautilus starts using 100% cpu and goes on until I kill it.
This seems to happen in folders containing AVI files. It could be
related to video previewing.
Many users seem to confirm this:
This might be an important hint.

I' ve been able to fix the problem as decribed in the link, i.e. by
adding an asterisk in the file /usr/bin/acroread. This means that
echo $mfile| sed
's/libgtk-x11-\([0-9]*\).0.so.0.\([0-9]\)00.\([0-9]*\)\|\(.*\)/\1\2\3/g'
becomes
echo $mfile| sed
's/libgtk-x11-\([0-9]*\).0.so.0.\([0-9]*\)00.\(
There is not much to say. When I start acroread from the terminal, I get
the following output:
$ acroread

It works. :-)
I'll try sticking with unrar and, when problems occur, I shall file a bug about
them. In the meantime, you might want to update rar to the latest version.
