I previously had a edgy install with compiz fusion working on it. My
graphics card is a nvidia NV11 [GeForce2 MX/MX 400]. I have gone into
restricted driver manager and enabled the driver for it. But when I go
into appearance settings to enable desktop effects I click it and i
this is my current xorg.conf

i also run into this same problem with a firefox extesion called clipy.
after clipping a website i can clicka button to save the clips and it
opens a new window, but none of the controls liek i said above work...

i tried this in terminal and got this error:

ok so after all this i tried switching back to nvidia-glx-legacy and now
it works!!! but now i got to set up xgl to use compiz with this and
thats another story...so at the moment i think this is solved.

ok so i tried the above, and well i am still here so thats a good thing.
So i installed those things then installed the nvidia-glx-legacy again.
Then i opened my xorg and changed vesa back to nvidia and saved then
restarted the computer, i cliked escape while grub was loading so i
could pick the ge
can anyone confirm or give me a little assurance of the above

i found out my problem was i was burning the image at too high of a speed,
for my laptop to read, i had to slow it to like 4x to burn for my old
laptop, then it worked fine.
