I find this one:

But it is not in:
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.1.2/
Can I use the 1.1.1 version? How do I fix it?

Tried renaming the ~/.xine folder to .xine.old and rebooted for good
measure. No dice. Amarok is still complaining that mp3 support is not
installed, when you click the button to install it nothing happens. I
even tried running the script directly from the amarok directory (I
can't remember where t
I'm having the same problem. I did not upgrade, but I kept my previous
home folder intact. I believe that it has something to do with that.
