I've had this issue while installing Intrepid x64 - a bit frustrating.
Mostly, it seems that it doesn't pass along the specific error code that LILO
spits out when it has an error. The error it ended up giving me (booted into
rescue mode and then opened a shell in the file system in question) was
I think the other part of the issue we're missing is that the installer hangs
on cleaning up portion of the install. I can confirm all of these problems when
upgrading from 8.04 to the beta. sadly, it breaks all of the terminal hotkeys
as well - turns the screen into seemingly random flashing AS
Just went through the last batch of updates for Intrepid Beta, and just got the
error again. For certain, Flash is more stable now, but still not 100%. Makes
life difficult when people write admin interfaces in Flash (why flash, why?)

Problem still exists in Intrepid Beta 64-bit. shows an error
"npviewer.bin" crashed.

Confirmed on Intrepid Beta 64-bit. Was also an issue on Hardy 64-bit,
was forced to reboot browser on a regular basis while working with Flash
Apps. After the upgrade at least it tells me what it was that crashed,
specifically... (npviewer.bin crashed) :-S
