i took the jumount.sh script from the

attachement) a little and put it to /usr/local/bin/
then i created a simple script /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/jumount-sd-card.sh
(putting it to /etc/acpi/su
i think i figured it out:
suspend fails when a SD card is inserted and mounted.
this also explains why suspend never failed on the first try - the SD card gets
mounted on resume and so the second suspend fails. this is reproducable for me.
the SD card is formatted with ext3, it's a 16GB "extrem

suspend/resume works fine several times in a row, but then it fails again. i
