Working with lotuspsychje I set my login to 'Autologin' rebooted and then I had
the resize bug.
Applications affected don't support CLD and some are Electron apps.

click Install It prompts me fora password and installs the deb package.

laptop with the HDMI and hub plugged in. The login screen
displayed on the External monitor, logged in and external monitor was
setup correctly as the default monitor.

Just to add I noticed over the weekend, when using the laptop on it own it

Fatal Grub Error wh
Just to update i rebooted the new install, and I get a grub menu that looks
correct, it also has the other partition that is on this computer with KDE neon
installed.
Whne booting into the new install it fails with errors. I have attached a
screenshot of the boot errors.

Just down loaded the latest daily ISO for Ubuntu, It boots into the live
desktop okay.
I run through the installer fine, when it gets to the end of the installation
it gives me a fatal Grub error then completes the install with the Continue
testing or Restart box

removed the apache and related packages and finished the upgrade. After
rebooting I attempted to install the apache packages I need only to be
thwarted by apache2-2-bin. Seems that that file was the issue all
along.

not sure what happened I plugged in my 3g usb modem and the the screen
went black, I had dash open at the time when I hit the meta key every
went back to normal. Also i was using the Video lens at the time

when in the files & folders lens clicking on any other folder apart

when I open dash and move to the files and folders lens, clicking on any of
the folders doesn't open them.
Clicking on my home folder and it works. Also clicking on files in the files
and folders lens seems to work ok.

well it was only after I uninstalled Unity 2D that Jockey started
reporting the false driver error, and not being able to log back into
Unity (the driver currently activated but not in use) bug has been
around for sometime in verious versions of Ubuntu looks like I triggered
it again somehow

Okay from my previous post I was able to get Unity running again by
adding UNITY_FORCE_START=1 to /etc/environment Big thanks to nathanvda

I just updated Ubuntu and logged back into the unity desktop (i've been using
Unity 2D because of this bug)
but now when logging back into Ubuntu desktop my Icons show up in he launcher
which is great but now I have noticed that the Launcher wont dodge windows
anymore and open windows hide under
I have this problem as well, I reinstalled Ubuntu from the beta 1 CD and and
the Icons in the Launcher were showing
but after updating to Beta 2 the problem came back I lost all the Icons in the
Launcher.
As a kind of workaround I installed Unity 2d which looks and acts much like the
3d versio
This has happened to me as well, after a crash I lost the panels on the Desktop.
I ran unity --reset-icons to get my desktop back which worked but no luck with
the Launcher Icons
