Got a new way to recover sound without rebooting
killall pulseaudio; sudo rmmod snd-hda-intel; sudo modprobe snd-hda-

Anyway it doesnt fix my problem, its just a patch.

It wasnt banshee, i moved to Linux Mint 12, and sound works better (still have
to do the same trick), but still sometimes i lose it.
And there is no way I can recover sound unless I reboot.
Any ideas? If at least I can make sound go back without restarting
session will be enough for me.
Thanks
Ok igot it, Ithink the trigger is banshee. Is there a way I can have
audio back once the audio is killed?
