I was installing 14.10 on a 3-drive RAID0 volume having chosen to use
logical volume manager. Would you people please realize that just
because you use a RAID system doesn't mean you need the server distro to
make it work?

In regards to Seth Arnolds comment, Bug #49579 refers to locking the
computer through the gnome screensaver. In keepassX, "lock workspace"
seems to refer to locking the keyfile and requiring the user to re-enter
credentials, as there is a button labled "Lock Workstation" in the main
window that do

Tried to D\L dropbox from software center. Gets 3/4 of the way on
progress bar then freezes. Unable to remove crippled package, or re D\L
it. Unknown to me what the problem is. Hope you can help! T.I.A.

Only difference was changed from onboard video (vga) to (dv)i setup. I
did load the drivers for the new digital card, from the repository.
Gnome 2.32.1 2-36-8 generic kernal. I hope this is enough information!

I have the same problem in Alpha 6 with the Intel DG45ID motherboard
ALSA sound works through the analog jacks. However no sound from either
the SPDIF Optical or HDMI jacks
