I am unable to connect to the net via- Ubuntu, as I am unable to configure
my dial-up Modem, so how did this meessage come ? Also I use Jaunty Jakalope
9.04, for AMD_64.

I tried what you said, somewhere it worked for a a while, after I did
the front Mic switch you mentioned. But it has not been consistent, the
settings change by themselves, and the mic gets muted automatically and
the settings change and on second try shows "Problems with Audio

I use ubuntu 9.04 Desktop AMD 64. While using the update manager, acpid
shows but does not install. Have tried reporting it.
