[Bug 343708] [NEW] keyboard stops responding in kile when using SCIM

Public bug reported: SCIM often causes the keyboard to stop responding when using kile. Last time it happened after using Backspace to erase several letters in a row, although no particular keystroke seems to initiate the failure to respond. This is not an issue related to compiling the .tex file.
