Please, explain if this is not a bug. The file /usr/include/graphviz/cgraph.h
contains the following line:

When I try to compile anything that includes this file (cgraph.h), gives me an

Yup! My point exactly: (1) ubuntu stock kernel bug, (2) custom kernels do not
have it (3) it has been like that for ~2 years.
Custom kernels are not such a good idea: (1) effort to recompile each time
kernel updates (a strong gentooish aftertaste), (2) lack of time
So what should I do? I am still seeing the bug even in Karmic. My solution of
taking .config from a stock Debian kernel and getting ubuntu kernel sources and
recompiling with this configuration still works. If you tell me a step by step
guide of providing you complete info needed o track the bug
Ok! Here is what I see. If I change screensaver and power settings -
nothing really changes and previous settings work not the new ones for
both power and screensaver. Have not tried yet changing settings and
restarting gnome.

I've upgraded from jaunty yesterday and seeing this problem -
screensaver does not activate, monitor does not enter powersave mode and
gnome-screensaver-command -a works

Hi Andy, the fix did not work for me on intrepid 32 bit. I am still

I must apologize for my previous comments. In fact, my problem is always
there. Does not matter what I boot from: HDD or USB. I have also
installed a SATA PCI card (after getting a hint from some forum) and
this does not help either. Now I am receiving the following:

I confirm this. Same problem on MacBook Pro Santa Rosa. Gutsy worked
perfectly - the capslock led was indicating keyboard layout, after
upgrade to Hardy the led indicated capslock key pressed (it is CTRL in
my layout) but not the layout change.

I ended up with the following solution on one of my PCs:
install Feisty (7.04) in parallel with Hardy (dualboot) and use Feisty
for burning CD/DVD.

I am on macbook pro core 2 duo 15" laptop. Using the latest update of
ubuntu gutsy. Xorg driver set to nv and works. When I suspend the
machine it suspends. After resume screen is off and keyboard is not
working (caps lock and num lock lights do not turn on on key press).
