not the same ? (the first is 1.4.5, the second 1.14.5 ) and somebody forgot a
1. in the installer list ?

Solution : bug : 140739
Thanks TJ !
For each binary package, download the .deb listed under "File download"
You can also use a terminal and wget to do this, e.g. (for amd64) copy
the link to the deb file and paste it as an argument to wget:
$ wget http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9354821/dpkg_1.14
Nothing new, Bug #140777and Bug #140739, only the solution doesnt work
cannot acces archive, no such file dpkg_1.4.5ubuntu14_*.deb
Did you people block the file ?

segmentation fault.
Is there a way to remove dpkg from the update list ?

https
forgot to mention, at start the updater wanted to upgrade libc6-i386
2-6-1-1ubuntu4 (to 5) that also ended up in a segmentation fault, did a
reinstall of that packet only (version4) , since then the updater hopped
to the next packet dpkg also with a segmentation fault.

The fix isn't working yet, on Feisty I installed syslog-ng causing
ubuntu-minmal to be removed, installed ubuntu minimal again, causing
that kernel log stopped logging. bum bootup still showed that syslog-ng
had to be started after boot.
Upgraded to Gutsy today (fine work, only 5 minor issues) hop
