Can you purge packages installed from OBS and then install packages from
Ubuntu repository? OBS packages are unofficial, so this is not Ubuntu
packages issue.

Preparing to replace midgar
Testing is done at travis. As Midgard2 is Content Repository abstraction
layer, which mainly use SQL databases as storage system, we test it
against (at least) MySQL, SQLite and PostgreSQL with python and PHP
unittests. Tests cover build phase and API calls.

Midgard2-core hasn't been synced from Debian due to FTB issue caused by
GIR transition. New package provide fixes for this problem. There's no
risk for regression as this packages hasn't been included in Maverick or
Lucid.

I would fix midgard2-core in Debian to avoid deltas for future sync.
Solution should be to add 'libgirepository1.0-dev, gir-repository-dev |
libgirepository1.0-dev' to build dependencies. And I think this should
not introduce http://bugs.debian.org/603235 again.

Current libgda version (4.0.4) included in Karmic and proposed to be
included in Lucid, is not stable enough for derived applications. Since
Lucid is LTS, no single application could benefit much, from included
Libgda 4.0.4.
