Setup a wireless repeater for my network. Works perfect in windows,
however in ubuntu it detects the MAC address of the repeater and the
main router and I can not get an internet connection... Tried taking
out the MAC addre
after deleteing xorg.conf booted back up into the regular size. However
still can not use the extra capabilities of the card. Restricted Drivers
goes back to disabled.

size screen so I can see everything. Going to enable the restricted

Ok, here are the files. The temp xorg file fixed the screen size. I
then tried to enable the restricted drivers, restart, then it came back
up in LOW RES 640X480.
Disabled, then obviously came back to correct screen size, cant use
graphics capabilities obviously.

I upgraded the kernal today from 2.6.24-19 to 20. Had a problem with
Nivda LOW RES orginally when I upgraded to 18, but later was fixed
somehow through updates. Now the problem is back (LOW RES on bootup)
with the 20 kerna
Installed 8.04... SO far the problem has not come back. However
running into Nvidia graphics problems so I can't say for sure this will
not pop up since I am not running the exact same settings So
far so good tho... Need to start a thread on this Nvidia Low
graphics mode stuff now..

one form there was something about adding noacpi at the end of the
script in the grub loader. It seemed like this fixed my problem. But
