HP EliteBook 6930p has similar issues after upgrade to 10.4. It even managed to dim the display when plugging the AC cord IN after it was on full brightness running on Battery. Neither FN keys nor Brightness Applet work properly. I can't even grab the trigger, because the window disappears on click
