Is there a bug report for this issue happening in 14.10 as well? I see
that as #186 pointed out, this is a different problem, is there a bug
report for it? If not, I will go ahead and create one.

Public bug reported:
12.10: Jockey-gtk (additional drivers) shows itself as not being
installed in my system, yet when I go to install it, it says I need to
install it, so I do, yet when I go to open it, it says that jockey-gtk
is not installed. I am able to install jockey-kde and run this instead
Public bug reported:
I attempted to install the Broadcom-sta driver through the "additional
drivers" applaction, yet after the driver was installed, I can not see
and wireless option in my netqork manager applet.

Public bug reported:
This bug was found in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
When compiling the applaction handbrake I get the applaction to have
failed after running sudo checkinstall. I get this on my shell when I
try to build the deb.
philip@PrincessLeia:~/hb-trunk/build$ sudo checkinstall
checkinstall 1.6.2
I have tested the upstream kernel (3.3 amd64) and can say the back light
is working again. Can we get this backported into 12.04 final release?
