Attached the doc file that is causing problems. Please check if this can be always reproduced on ubuntu precise (libreoffice 4.0.3) and ubuntu raring (libreoffice 4.0.4). The file should open fine in any ubuntu using libreoffice 4.0.2. ** Attachment added: "crash test file for 4.0.3 and 4.0.4"

Not sure this is a duplicate of #409640. In my particular case, blue tint was fixed by setting the default video output to "X Window System (No Xv)" instead "Autodetect" in gstreamer-properties (as described in #409640 by Spang #8).
