flaccid: It's because Intrepid uses an x server version that hasn't been released as stable yet. In this release they made a change in the ABI(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_binary_interface) which break drivers like fglrx. If you use Ubuntu Hardy you won't have this problem. I hope th
