restart the service with the command systemctl --user restart

Hi, I booted by disabling secure boot as suggested and it seems to fix
the wifi issue.
After disabling secure boot, I had to reboot into Windows once to get
wifi working again, and then I tried rebooting into Linux a couple of
times. So far wifi has worked everytime.

Firefox stops loading Farmville
*Exactly* the same error here. Dell 3593, Ubuntu 20.04. Never tried the
"rmmod tpm" fix, will do next time it happens. Two questions:
- Can anyone affected confirm this doesn't happen with Ubuntu 18?
- Does WORKAROUND 2 in original post lead to permanent solution? Looks like
it should.

In a workstation with Ubuntu 18.04 using EUFI, new entries (related to
devuan and Debian) were inserted before the Ubuntu entry. The
workstation does not have those OSes so I am not sure why they did
showed. I am assuming they were inserted by the faulty grub2 update.
Anyway, I edited (using the B

bug do not work.

I agree with Coeur Noir. basically we are left with nothing as neither
system config samba nor Gadmin-Samba are a viable option any more.
It would be really great if someone in the community could come forward
with a real fix.

Hi, In my case it was solved after adding both parameters,
"i8042.nopnp=1 pci=nocrs" I tried adding "i8042.nopnp" alone and it
didn't work.
