to clarify also, the given workaround is successful
to re-iterate:
go to Accounts --> Sametime --> Edit Account
then go to Advanced tab and select the checkbox 'Force login (ignore server
redirects)'

Previously worked in Feisty. Very bad regression.

the given workaround is successful, would it not be worth either
changing the existing binary (presuming that it doesn't effect other
cards) or, in the event that it does effect other cards, having a
separate libmyth-fglrx for ati users
clearly ati won't fix anything for at least 2 years :)

Using the latest 8.30.3 fglrx drivers, mplayer with vo xv works fine but
mythtv-frontend has blue tinge to all tv playback.
I believe the bug applies to all ATI RADEON X cards and myth needs to be
recomplied with USE_ATI_PROPRIETARY_DRIVER_X
