18.10 64 bits in dual boot and I have the same problem: no sound (although it

I meet the same problem on a netbook asus eeepc 1201nl. When I download via
transmission (with a consequent debit(flow): 350 Kb/) at the end of moment the
computer congeals completely. I am obliged to stop(arrest) him(it) violently
with the button of supply
