Faruk's solution worked for me too.
I upgraded via the .iso image as well so I guess there's a bug in there
somewhere.

I have the same problem on a Mythbuntu 10.10 machine with apt
0.8.3ubuntu7. Here's what the process tree looks like:

| `-apt,22170 /etc/cron.daily/apt
I had the same problem. It looks like it happens when gwibber can't
connect to the keyring service. To fix this, I started the keyring
service manually by typing 'gnome-keyring-daemon' in the terminal.
