Hi. I have this problem in 10.10. No FireFox, SCIM 1.4.9, installed from
maverick repos.
Alt+tab between Gnome Terminals is fine.
Alt+tab between a Gnome Terminal and Gedit locks up the terminal every
time. Alt+Tab between a Terminal and Chrome likewise. This has been the
case across reboots over
I have the same problem in a clean install of 10.04 (iso downloaded

to 10.04 yesterday - I had to kill the install of mysql-server which had
hung, but I've done the complete install today.

Public bug reported:
Upgrading mysql server in the upgrade to 10.04 was hung. It said it was
replacing a config file but didn't show a window to ask about replacing
the existing file or anything, so after maybe 20 minutes I Control-C'ed
to let the upgrade continue.
