I had this happen again this morning and had a chance to try out some of
the suggested workarounds in this thread an so I thought I would also
add that NONE of them work for me! When I bring up the windows options
menu it doesn't get focus so I can never select "Move". Using KDE I can
do kwin --rep

I started having this problem like 6 months ago when I was using Xubuntu
9.10. Short of restarting the Xserver nothing would fix it. I tried
removing all my configuration files and starting clean but it still came
back so i gave up on Xfce thinking it was the problem and installed
Kubuntu 10.04 and

I have this as well on Xubuntu feisty on a dell Inspiron 8200 where I
use Fn+Esc to suspend. It's 100% reproducible for me. Is there any kind
of workaround at all? Is there anymore info I can provide?
