Okay, i finished the part
"multitouch features does not work"
and have only output in the file "xinput", there are two ids (11, 14)
indicating " N-Trig Touchscreen" so i ran the test for both ids.

Now i tried to reproduze the bug using the radeonhd driver. Using this
driver log out works fine. Contact me in case you need further

the problem lies in KMS. When turning it off [1] the problem does not
occur. So i found a workaround.

Hallo,
as far as i know dell-wmi has to do with hotkeys. The unknown keys that
appear in dmesg are not related to this bug. they appeared in former
ubuntu versions, too.

When using the log out functionality of gdm X does not start up again.
The system is stuck. The only way to access the system is via network,
e.g. ssh.
When system is stuck the screen shows wired points on a mostly black
screen.
Note that if i not click on log out the system

I chose reproducible since when using the touchscreen to input events
(e.g. using stylus inside webbrowser) some (not deterministic) time
later the system freezes.
Further i did not know if touchscreen belongs to graphics or rather to
some kind of input device. So i chose other in apport.

I am having the same problem on a latitude xt running karmic. The
Touchpad is detected as "PS/2 Generic Mouse". In addtion there is some
input device called "Macintosh mouse button emulation" recognized. See
