For some reason (probably because I booted windows once) my computer
clock was off by one hour at some point. I can correct it using "adjust
date&time" and it works all right until I reboot/turn off the computer.

card (Realtek ALC861 chip). alsamixer for example shows no master volume

i had the same problem, and removing emvs (i dont know why it was
installed though) solved the problem. one thing: external drives are no
longer automounted when plugged in at boot-time, i have to unplug and
re-plug them in order to be mounted. this worked with evms installed.

i have installed kile on my machine, and navigating nautilus to a project
folder where there are *.eps files (auto-generated from jpegs and pngs i
include) the bug will trigger reproducably.

updates and I agreed. Upgrade went all right and I was asked to
