No longer have this laptop so cannot do further testing on this bug.

Agree. Any sort of 'peek' feature would be good for now. Right now I
have a Nautilus file transfer going on in the background and I can see
the status of it's progress by looking at the Home folder icon in the
Launcher (or whatever the sidebar is called). But I also have a Nautilus
folder open.

Sorry, you are right, what works for me in CM9.1.0 is in fact mass
storage mode. Glad to see it back for now, but it does of course
dismount the storage from the phone while in use. So the MTP problem is
still there.

I have just installed Cyanogenmod 9.1.0 stable on my S2 and after
connecting my phone by USB to Ubuntu 12.04, and then popping down the
top menu on the phone and selecting USB storage mode (or similar), I
have full access to everything on the device as normal.

I noticed in Chromium, if I am on a website and I drag the favicon from
the address bar into the bookmarks bar, there is now only a slight pause
while the Unity Launcher does a fading transition. Not such a major
issue now after this

No way is it fixed for me, Galaxy S2 with official ICS, Ubuntu 12.04
updated. Neither MTP or camera or debug modes. In MTP, it does automount
in nautilus and shows the files and folders on the root of the phone,
but all folders say 0 items inside them, and going into any folder shows

I can confirm Firefox doesn't have this issue. Funny how it affects me
in Unity 2D but you in normal Unity.

You must be in Unity 3D as it doesn't seem to be an issue on 2D mode.
A way to tell is to logout, and next to your username on the logon
screen is a little settings button. If you click it you will see Unity
2D and just Unity. Just "Unity" is the 3D mode - by "3D" I just mean it
has more animation

3D. I log out and back into 2D, but the HUD error still appears in the
typing box.

Unable to set
I've had that behaviour which is fine since its safer, but this one is
definitely a bug. It fails to sync on every sync right now, and this is
a fresh and updated 11.10 beta 2 install. If I edit an existing note and
sync, it doesn't upload my one at all, it just downloads the old one
from the serve
#16 works for me but whenever I do a sync (manual or auto), it doesn't
upload my notes to the server and says sync failed. It also asks me to
download the server copy of the same note and rename my local note as
old. But my local note is the newer note and it should have uploaded.

Removing nautilus-open-terminal fixed it for me. None of the Ubuntu One
client stuff above helped for me, but removing nautilus-open-terminal
definitely did. Nautilus now opens, and it seems to open slightly
quicker.
