the bug is still exist in v6.5, the phantom input appear randomly and it is
worse than in v6.8

thank you for the update and your work, its "kinda" fix the bug. the
phantom input is not start randomly again, but instead it will appear once
around 20-30 seconds after i press the brightness button. so the phantom
input will trigger only once and only when after i press the brightness
button. if
as far as i remember, the bug is happening after i install the ubuntu and
try to fix that by update it but its still same. Im using Linux

thanks for your help, but unfortunately the problem won't fix after tried
some of the solution you've suggest. i hope there is a way to fix this and
also i can install packages with apt normally
