I have a laptop with an old Intel 945G Chipset. When upgrading from
14.04 to 16.04 Xorg already crashed on Startup before I was successfully
logged in (have auto-login enabled). Applying the Workaround from #40
worked. I get into the Desktop session and everything seems stable.

On my system the bug seems to be more severe. Not only are song names
missing from sound juicer but sound juicer also segfaults for some CDs
when ripping is started. Using libmusicbrainz 4.03 also fixes the
crashes.

I have the same issue in 10.10 maverick meerkat with a Medion Medion MD9580-F.
I added this to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub:
