I've recently tested the same setup with the live cd of 10.10 (also
64bit), but it resulted in the same bug as under 10.04.

I'm using also 10.04 and have the same problem as expos and daniele3
with the Logitech Webcam C500 and a Ralink RT2501USB Wireless Adapter. I
also tried a D-Link Wireless Adapter (which is identified as rt73) - but
without success.

I'd like to stick to Ubuntu Hardy and prefer not to upgrade to Jaunty.
Is there a chance that this fix will be backported to Hardy? If not,
could you please sketch the way how to build the needed mga package for
Hardy?

I installed the ntop package to have a closer look at the network traffic. It
seems that within a few seconds several hundred megabytes are sent to the
DNS-server, with which my pc is connected, and the DNS server is sending this
packages back. According to a comment in

my LCD connected via DVI.
Yesterday (15th of April) I had to switch back to the ordinary vesa driver -
