>sudo apt-get -f install
...asked for:
>sudo apt-get autoremove
.And finally:
>sudo /etc/init.d/lightdm restart

Hi,
This issue started after activating auto login (sound cards not listed,
external drives not mounting...).
Continuing on the previous entry from gigi: "The permission of the
setuid helper is not correct", related to lighdm, definetely seems to be
the cause of all other issues.
