Sorry But I have since bought a new computer and will be installing the latest
Feisty Fawn on it. I do not have Ubuntu on the old hard drive as it was
reformatted.

No that is not correct. After updating ubiquity I could not click on the
desktop install Icon and do a hard drive install. I finally went back to herd 1
and did updates. it worked herd 2 did not. I have a amd 64 cpu this is the
x86-64
version of feisty.

Feisty Fawn herd 2 amd 64
when I try to do a hard drive install from the live CD I get the following (see
below)
This happens on 3 different computers with the i386 version as well as
the amd 64 version of feisty fawn herd 2 I did not have this problem
with herd 1 alpha. wh

I don't know what happened but I just now downloaded 149 upgrade packages and
it all went without a problem. My Feisty is now up to date. I have not changed
anything. This was done with the Update Manager. I will try a Dist-Upgrade from
the cli and see what happens. just tried it f
