Public bug reported:
Hi I installed Maverick RC on this old Compaq Presario 2226CL and found
a huge problem. Every ten seconds or so the processor spikes and
sound/video lag. Even after a fresh reboot with no opened apps.

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Hi, I installed Maverick Meerkat and installed Ubuntu-X PPA from Ubuntu
Tweak. Sometimes when I close some dropdown menus they don't disappear
completely.

The problem with those drivers is that they can't be included in the

licensing problems to Ubuntu.
Broadcomm is working on new open-source drivers so sooner than later
your wireless card will work out of the box with Ubuntu.

Keyboard Shortcuts forgets "right alt" after restart

This bug is reproducable.
To recreate:
- Assign a keyboard shortcut in the 'keyboard shortcuts' menu item to be right
shift ( ISO Level 3 Shift )
- Restart your machine
- The shortcut will not be working and need to be manually reset
Hope that helps!
