I WAS recently playing with resolutions while hooking up an external monitor
via xrandr, while running compiz.
I am also experiencing sporadic problems such as short delays, ls: reading
directory .: Input/output errors, system not recognizing the ctrl key on and
off.

Not sure if this fits here, but it's kid of a pain to log out/in
especially when you've gone to the trouble of setting up compiz, kiba,
numerus other things that will probably have to be redone. It would
have been nice to have known this ahead of time.
